By Summer 2021, the Coral Reef Garden had survived two winters and an especially hot and dry summer. A few plants declined and were removed, but most performed wonderfully. Here are some photos taken June 2021.
2022
By the 2022, the plants in the Coral Reef Garden, installed with questions about their ability to perform on the site, proved they were thriving. Because so many plants survived, arboretum students organized an event to engage the incoming Dorrance Scholars in a campus clean up. See the full story here.
