The Campus Arboretum Office is Located in Herring Hall.
On September 3, 2004, the newly re-dedicated Herring Hall opened to house the office of the UA Campus Arboretum. This building houses the extensive natural history collections of both the Plant Herbarium and Mycological Herbarium. Built in 1903, Herring Hall is the second oldest building on campus. It harkens back to the early days of the Land Grant Institution, when botany, agriculture and Sonoran Desert stewardship and sustainability were almost exclusive priorities for the University. We invite you to stop in to visit us in this beautiful and historic building, learn more about the plants on campus, and pick up informational literature. Herring Hall is situated south of the Forbes (Agricultural) Building, which is directly south of Old Main. The Campus Arboretum office is in Room #101, just inside the building entrance double doors.
